A computer scientist thinks about the brain

24th of May 2017 will be another lecture in the serie of Rejewski, Różycki, Zygalski lectures in computer science. Lecture will be delivered by Christos H. Papadimitriou from Greece. He has lectured at Harvard University, MIT and Stanford University, University of California at San Diego and the University of California in Berkeley. He is the author of many computer science's textbooks and books.

On the lecture it will be shown examples of algorithmic insights into key problems in economics and evolution. There will be also discuss current work with Wolfgang Maass and Santosh Vempala on models for the creation and interaction of symbolic memories in the brain.
